Our History

After 8 years in business working for directors who were always asking me for more “profitability”, ever-larger average baskets and ever-increasing sales figures, I decided to leave salaried employment and created Lollitopia.

A place where I can express and share my creativity. A fun and impertinent universe where I take and repurpose elements of pop culture that rocked my childhood and which brings me back to that nostalgia where everything seemed simpler. But also to mix urban and bourgeois codes because fashion is not a question of budget but of style and personality!

It's also a way to protest the rise of certain political movements that highlight the return of traditionalism, which seeks to "smooth" and control (once again) the way women should dress, but also behave. These models and "trends" (hello old money & trad-wives vibes) aim for a Eurocentric aesthetic, excluding curvy women and women of color.

In a world where everything is becoming less nuanced, more gray and soulless, I encourage each person to assert their singularity and uniqueness.
